[Macau] Review: Wynn Palace Hotel 永利皇宮
During the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2018 events, we got to stay at Wynn Palace for a few nights and it was luxurious from beginning to end. First of all, you can take a complimentary cable car ride straight into the hotel. Propped up by a grand golden dragon, the SkyCab travels over the Performance Lake while offering great views of the surrounding area - talk about making a grand entrance! The rooms, of course, are larger than life. Literally. We stayed in the standard Palace Room (which was already their smallest room by the way) and at 730 square feet, it's already bigger than the suites at some other hotels.
Immediately after the entrance is a spacious foyer which contains the closet and leads into the bathroom area.
A pair of comfortable robes and plushy slippers were available for our using in the closet.
The marble bathroom has a his-and-hers sink, bathtub, standing shower and even an in-wall television (which doubles as a mirror!).
The actual bedroom itself provides nice views of the city through its floor-to-ceiling windows.
I hear that the color themes of the room come in a few colors - cream, orange and turquoise.
Main controls of the room are organized into an IPad-like touchscreen device. Ample USB ports and power outlets are available throughout the room along with a Bang & Olufsen bluetooth audio system.
Besides the one in the bathroom, there's also a TV in the main area.
For breakfast, you can choose between a continental or Asian breakfast in your room or head down to the Fontana Buffet for a feast!
