[Shanghai] 1* Yong Fu 甬府 at North Bund 北外灘
Rating: 5/5
Another exception meal in Shanghai - this time at 1* Yong Fu 甬府! We visited the new branch at the North Bund 北外灘 which is said to have cost over $100M RMB in renovations. Located on the 56/F, diners can enjoy sky high dining here with impressive views of the The Bund. The restaurant specializes in Ningbo cuisine using only the freshest and finest ingredients. Its export in Hong Kong has been highly popular, but I would say that if you love the one in HK, you will love the original in Shanghai even more as they have access to better ingredients. All of their signature seafood dishes were of course fantastic but the surprise hit was the pan-fried wagyu with preserved vegetables sauce!
