[Shanghai] 1* Fu 1015 福1015
Rating: 4.25/5
After a few meals in Shanghai, we finally had Shanghainese food and what better place to have it than at 1* Fu 1015 (福1015) - sister restaurant of renowned vegetarian restaurant Fu He Hui! Housed in a colonial villa dating back to the 1920's, the interior villa was breathtakingly beautiful with dark wooden details, chandeliers, stained glass windows, and balconies. Just like its decor, the food was elegant and exquisite with many favorites such as the classic Shanghai smoked fish, the creative Foie Gras with spring onion pancake, the decadent hairy crab roe with toast, and the braised Wagyu with peppercorn. What was the most impressive though was the sautéed fresh river shrimps still with their tails intact - best 清炒河蝦仁 I’ve ever had!
