[Italy: Rome] Bvlgari Hotel Roma
Follow me to Bvlgari Hotel Roma in Rome! Opened last year at an illustrious site across from the Mausoleum of Emperor Augustus, guests stepping into the entrance foyer are greeted by a 2000-year-old statue of the emperor Augustus. The upscale hotel is home to 114 rooms and suites decorated in a color palette inspired by the city. We stayed in the gorgeous Junior Suite with ample space at 51 sqm - highlights of the room included a lovely little balcony and yellow marble bathroom that set the tone for the entire space. Dining options include the hotel’s signature dining experiences such as The Bvlgari Bar and Il Ristorante by Chef Niko Romito of 3* Reale. Don’t miss the La Terrazza - the spectacular rooftop terrace with sweeping views over all of Rome!
My favorite facility was the swimming pool designed in the grand tradition of Roman baths with 8 marble columns, glittering mosaics, and two bronze spouts that echo Morpurgo’s fountain!

Satisfied my pasta cravings at the Il Caffè! The all-day restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere in both its indoor and outdoor areas. The menu offers a wide variety of options from traditional Roman dishes to “Bomba” sandwiches - Chef Niko’s take on an authentic Italian street food. We had to try the classic Roman pastas such as the Cacio e Pepe and Amatriciana of course, but it was the Vongole with Tagliolini that stole our hearts - one of the best I’ve ever had! Breakfast for hotel guests is also served here - everything from the bread to the eggs were of high quality. I especially loved the delish “Maritozzo” bun with whipped cream!
