[Italy: Brusaporto] 3* Da Vittorio
The original Da Vittorio Ristorante was founded in 1966 by Vittorio Cerea with a focus on creative seafood dishes - at a time when meat was dominant on menus. Nowadays, his sons Enrico and Roberto are at the helm of its flagship 3* restaurant located in a beautiful villa on vast landscaped grounds near Bergamo. Several tasting menus are available including one to celebrate seafood and Carte Blanche for the full dining experience. There's nothing more iconic than the signature Paccheri with tomato sauce and parmesan served on a huge plate! The parmensan was added on the spot and the staff dutifully mixed it into the tomato sauce until it was fully absorbed. We were given a bib so that we wouldn't make a mess while trying to lap up all the delicious creamy sauce. See the process on my reel here!
