[Thailand: Bangkok] Hotel Review: Capella Bangkok
Hello Bangkok! For my trip, I had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Capella Bangkok where all of the rooms have panoramic views of the majestic Chao Phraya River! Opened in 2020, the boutique luxury hotel is an urban oasis with 101 suites and villas on offering. It was named the Best New Hotel by World's 50 Best Hotels in 2023 - entering the inaugural list at #11. From private plunge pools to outstanding culinary offerings including the 1* Cote by Mauro Colagreco, Capella Bangkok is a sophisticated hotel where you just don't want to leave the property.
ROOM:
The room types range from a standard riverfront room to suites with a plunge pool and private villas right by the river. My Riverfront Premier room was modern and spacious at 61 sqm with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony to enjoy the views which was especially beautiful at sunset. The service team was attentive to my every need - even helping me to draw a bubble bath in my room!

FACILITIES:
The hotel is best known for its top-notch service and their team of Capella Culturists can help guests with any activities or needs during their stay. For wellness, one can lounge by the swimming pool or visit the award-winning Auriga spa for relaxation.
DINING:
The flagship restaurant onsite is definitely the 1* Cote by Mauro Colagreco - chef of 3* Mirazur in France! You can read about my dining experience here.
Other dining options include the authentic Thai restaurant Phra Nakhon which also serves breakfast, the hotel bar Stella, and the Tea Lounge which serves afternoon tea.
